PRESIDENT

Rob was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and relocated to Connecticut while in grade school after his father was hired at a local utility. He has proudly served over 10 years in the US Army’s engineer branch and credits this service with the military-style of leadership he brings to Breen & Sullivan Mechanical Services. He first enlisted after high school and served up until he began college, thinking the military was behind him at that point. In the process of earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut; however, 9/11 occurred and he immediately decided to return to the military, enrolling in the ROTC program. Rob was commissioned back onto active duty as a lieutenant after graduating from UCONN and served an additional five years as a Combat Engineer, ultimately reaching the rank of Captain. After leaving the Army (again) in 2008, he worked in renewable energy in Texas, building and managing industrial-sized wind energy power plants. Rob pursued his MBA at Hardin-Simmons University, while working in wind energy, and returned to Connecticut upon completion of his course work in 2010. Almost immediately after returning, Rob began working at Breen & Sullivan and been has passionate about the company ever since.
